After reading about the “wild food toasting” I was half expecting a disclaimer like “flamethrower not included.”

Sounds more like a pitch for a retirement home. Or methadone clinic.

Ah, fond memories of our family visits to the Folk Musiem… making paper, dancing, playing the bow… ridding the place of horses… [sigh] good times!

I found out the Naxi spinning was organized by a spin doctor

This place is so funny, the sign painter could barely make the sign due to all his laughing!

Man, how can they mess up the work Fork! The 1969 Oneida Presidential chilled salad fork is by far their best exhibit.

Wait — “spining”? Do they rip out somebody’s spine?

Combine music with ancient artifacts and you get musiem.

Ah, the musiem, where you can hang out with naxi folk and toast wild animals while spining paper. Mmmm…. toasted animals. Be sure to try the horse!

I’m not so much worried about the Naxis of the past … it’s the Neo-naxis that I worry about…

I’m sure that when this sign was typed up, someone’s keyboard was configured a bit wrong. If ye substitute “Naxi” with “Taxi”, ye get:
. . Taxi resturant (Cabbie’s fry-up),
. . Taxi spinning (A typical cabbie’s U-turn), and
. . Taxi dancing (That, however, I cannot explain!)

Conclusion: This is actually a transport museum! 🙂

Last time I played the Bow in the UK, I got arrested for illegal possession of a weapon…And they reckon that China is a restrictive country? 😮

I like this one –it’s tricky because “Naxi” is about the only thing not Engrish here! (They’re an ethnic group located in parts of the Sichuan Province). “Hereis a funny place” inded!

Ahh, I wasn’t aware of that…It looked like a simple typing error, or a keyboard problem that got the Xs and Ts mixed up! 😮
Cheers for enlightening me though, I’ll have to try looking the tribe up online! 🙂

What?! Why are they going to be ridding of the horse?! Don’t tell me that’s what they meant by “enjy the wild food”!!!!

It’s a holistic experience. The Naxi concept of riding the food you eat, dancing and making the dung paper you need in the funny place.
