Actually the sign in Chinese means litterbugs from high are hated by both Heaven and Earth, but when they tried it in English it becomes a hatred of physics and geometry by the common people.

it stands outside my dads apartment where he lives in Yiwu, China. I thought it sounded like a quote form the i-ching? But yeah, nice to know someone else has appreciated its madness! parabolic days at high altitudes, fear and resentment of men i think refers to the superior man having a lack of understanding of lower men which comes from detachment and resentment of their actions. Without hope and empathy for humanity (other people) there is only fear and resentment........... yes? That's how i read it anyway, as it related to my experiences on the day I saw it first. :o )

@Cat- It's actually an admonishment to not throw things out the windows of high-rises. ("high altitude" being high floors and "parabolic days" being throwing things). I think I caused much anger and resentment when I threw a shampoo bottle out the window of the 29th floor of a place in China I was staying in and hit someone's Audi. And that time I did the same with an Ikea shopping bag filled with water (except it was a not-so-cheap Ford that time). These are both things that I would not have done had I actually noticed the cars.
