  3. Eduard | 3:08 am |

  6. jjhitt | 3:15 am |

    Welcome To Motel 1.98.

  7. jjhitt | 3:16 am |

To the stairs, Igor. A storm is approaching.

  8. faulty wiring | 3:23 am |

Number 5 sounds like a dare. And number 7 is akin to elevator surfing / hanging for the disability

  9. DrZos | 3:33 am |

#6 makes it pretty clear that riding this elevator is generally a bad idea, unless you can’t avoid it…

  10. DrZos | 3:36 am |

I do not will, if you doesn’t stiectly prohibited.

  11. jjhitt | 3:39 am |

Do not will ride elevator if you experience an erection lasting for more than four hours.

  12. phoenixx | 3:55 am |

so if we see that person that makes us all say “oh HELL no” we have to let them on?? brace yourself he they come

  13. coffeebot | 3:55 am |

Go ahead, just try to use those stairs…

  14. faulty wiring | 4:01 am |

What about very small children with disabilities in wheelchairs during a thunderstorm when the hotel is on fire but who have prior convictions for vandalism?

  15. DrLex | 4:17 am |

So people in wheelchairs should get off their chairs, and send them up in the elevator while crawling up the stairs themselves?

  16. DrLex | 4:44 am |

    (Thunder) (x10)
    I was caught
In the middle of an elevator (Thunder)
    I looked ’round,
And I knew I was physicaly able (Thunder)
    My mind raced
And I thought what could I do? (Thunder)
    And I knew
It was not designed for fire use (Thunder)
    Closing the door
    Stiectly prohibited
    I’m not a disability!
    Must use the stairs
    It’s been – thunderstorm!

I’m thankful that they told me right up top that this is English because I’m not certain I would have recognized it. And bless their hearts, they tried so hard to prevent from making an unpleasant sign expiorence.

  18. Matt S. | 4:58 am |

We rides it,and We vandilizes it and we gives them disabilaties to anyones elses that wants to rides it my PRECIOUS.

  19. Thomas | 4:59 am |

Women, Children and Wheelchairs first please.

  20. Ralph Hamilton | 5:20 am |

“Make my day! Try to use the stairs.”

Ah! It is an old Clint Eastwood remake.

  21. Ralph Hamilton | 5:26 am |

@ faulty wiring. I asked a Catholic Priest and he said. “F—- the children.”

So I don’t know whether that was an instruction or an epithet.

  22. mickeygreeneyes | 5:51 am |

Excuxe me. Im entittled to puut my wwheelchair on the eelevator first. since this is under and outside of any condition. O K, thats got it. Now Im going to run up over the stairs to see if I can get there b for my wheelchair. Thank you and please don’t vandalizes it.

  23. faulty wiring | 6:44 am |

    @ Ralph: Probably both…

  24. Chris | 7:07 am |

    @ jhitt: It’s pronounced “Eye-gor” now.

  25. Chris | 7:10 am |

And don’t let me hear about you playing with matches either.

  26. Ich | 7:13 am |

    Where’s the staircase?

  27. demondude777 | 8:35 am |

Woman: Honey, I thought you were by the pool?

Man: Well dear, I was. But then the water instantly became polluted, and all the foot expired. Everyone got really cranky too and started fighting.

Woman: Looks like someone vandalizes the elevator again.

  28. Big Fat Cat | 8:42 am |

At this moment, I am riding the elevators to the 200th floor through thunder and lightning with the disables hanging outside and under the elevators soaking in the rain. I really enjoy this ride.

  29. ribbonleaf | 1:06 pm |

Um… what country is this again?

  30. FatKenney | 3:33 pm |

I particularly liked the word “environment”. While technically a misspelling, given the pronunciation of the word it actually makes more sense then the correct spelling. Bravo.

  31. FatKenney | 3:36 pm |

    The escalator is right out.

  32. Chuck | 4:03 pm |

Shouldn’t the fire be stieclty prohibited all the time ?

Except when it’s in season, of course.

Then my disability becomes a liability.

And no, I could not, would not, with a goat.

  33. Darth Na'vi | 4:21 pm |

Riu Hotels is a big chain. Here’s the Wiki-
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RIU_Hotels

Perhaps this corker is in all of them? Wouldn’t that be Engrishalicious?
    😀

  34. Camy | 10:50 pm |

Hey, you, author of this notice, you are a disability!

  35. Yes Man | 2:40 am |

    Thundercats! Ho!

  36. Gwydion Williams | 4:40 am |

You will enjoy our unpleasant hotel environment

  37. Carlos | 10:15 am |

#2 says, “Don’t vandalize to prevent an unpleasant environment.” That means that the place is intentionally crappy and they want you to refrain from cleaning it up. Constructive vandalism is strictly prohibited.

  38. Carlos | 10:32 am |

    @FatKenney:
You think so because you’ve been mispronouncing it.

  39. Gloria | 9:43 am |

You don’t use fires in elevator, no matter who you are! Stairwell fire use is okay.

  40. Jody | 12:59 am |

Are there certain days of the week when fire is not strictly prohibited in the hotel? Hello, I’m arthritis, what’s your name?

  41. Jody | 1:07 am |

Please help, the elevator is stuck and my wheelchair is in there all by itself. I had to let the wheelchair ride first under and outside of my condition of being paralysed from the chest down. Its needs were obviously more important.

  42. alesita | 12:20 pm |

yeah… i like it on a wheel chair… under, outside, on top of and inside too!! what can I say… i’m a disability!

  43. Kyle | 7:13 pm |

I feel discomfort just thinking about stairs…

  44. Lollerskate | 9:17 pm |

Clearly this sign ain’t not clear and concise…

  45. Alexa | 9:54 pm |

just remember — let the wheelchair ride the elevator first, then wait for it to get off and send it back up for you

  46. j s | 9:01 pm |

Have thunderstorms been known to disable elevators?

  47. Myself | 9:55 pm |

I’m a disability and I am appalled that fire is steictly prohibited even for disabilities. I’m used to hotels making exceptions for disabilities like me in their anti-fire rules. I’m never going to Riu Hotels again.
