Sign found outside of Yoyogi Park, Tokyo.

“Fn” likely meant as ‘fun’ (pronounced ‘foon’) meaning dog poop.

“the trouble should not hang to the other”.
That’s a common problem with dogs.

Please defend following of the dog, etc.:

– do not allow for a scary hated one to come to the lovely pet for you
– do not allow for a dog etc. to graze upon the pasture
– take a dog etc. from home to home without throwing it away
– dispose of Fn
– …use..

Even though the expression “public domain” is correctly used, it’s still nice to know there are some things you (or your dog) can do without having to click through a EULA and TOS agreement.

Math majors are so annoying… they dispose all their Fn at the park 😉

Even a half-sane ‘animal of the dog’ owner wouldn’t even think about going to THAT park.

“Throwing it away to the restroom” — sort of like Frisbee Golf, only different..

It bears it in mind sanitary in the park . . . or it gets the hose — AGAIN! How many times do I have to TELL you this?

While strolling in Yoyogi-koen,
When no one could see where I was goin’,
I crapped on the grass an the bins in the dark,
And all of the seats for a lark,
For in th gloom none could see what i ”s doin’.

It’s not much fun in the park, what with Park Ranger Etcetera giving me Fn for not following his instructions.

I think it’s sweet when a dog wags his tail, but I find it absolutely insufferable, though, when he wags his finger.

Yes, many good yocks to be had here, but I really find endearing the picture of doggies put out to pasture amid the cows.

I dont think the dog needs to go poop if you had to use a dragrope to get them to the park.

When it says ‘defend’ it actually means ‘observe’ or ‘follow’ (the rules etc) since the word 守る has both these meanings. That pasture bit was poorly translated. Its supposed to mean something like ‘don’t let your dog run free around the park’ since 放し飼い means letting (a dog) run free but it also means grazing or pasturing.

^Part of what’s so frustrating though is that in Tokyo in particular there are tons of people who could have fixed this. The people who made it just didn’t care.

Actually, you can lead a dog to Yoyogi-koen, but you can’t make him stroll.
