The Chinese learner in me is confused, I know it is Japanaese, but if you read it as Chinese…

用餐 = to have a meal
拒绝 = refuse/reject/turn down/decline

Reject food? Does somebody offer? And why is the sign placed so low? Is the sign for cats who are offered food by humans? Do the cats speak Japanese?

@Algernon 5:07: drinking chain lube is OK. It also makes the parts go down more easily.

@alexmagnus: Okazaki Shrine is the Shrine of the Rabbit. The sign is meant for rabbits. They like to chew on bicycles.

The shrine is guarded, by specially trained killer rabbits.

@alexmagnus 0541. We cats can understand any language, if we see fit. However,we prefer to teach our owners/servants, a few words of cat. Unless, of course, they are too stupid to learn.

We cats notice, that humans are totally unable to speak cat. Must be something to do with having vocal chords.

BTW. The cat language is called “YYowweereee”.Ach! Es macht nichts. Humans are incapable of pronouncing it anyhow.

Purrrr….Marum Katze. (See; Marum is from the Manus Island language)

I imagine the message is, to exhort the newly married nips to; “root like rabbits”.

Hmm. ‘Tis long ago now. But I don’t think I needed any such encouragement.

@Marum 1235: From my observations, most cat language seems to be body language. What we humans lack most in that area is a tail. An extremely flexible spine would also help.
