Just because we western countries decide on one set of rules does not mean we are correct. In traditional societies the girls were/are often nursing babies at 14 years.
Do not be so anglo-centric.

I don’t care much about that whether it is high or low
since it is fairly arbitrary. Most teens don’t care much
about it either. My opinion is based on my own perceptions

What is important is understanding the implications of
your actions. Something even some 18 year olds don’t get

Since the human lifespan is nearly double what it was
