@Pete My mum’s dad was an Aboriginal man, he was married to a Scots lass, so I have Scots on three sides of my family.

All three of us kids have the lovely soft brown skin, that is so handy in Qld’s. climate. Both my brother and sister have the brown eyes too. I got the “mad’ Scottish eyes, that change from yellow to green, depending on the light.
Genetics is strange. My son has my skin colour, but both my daughters are white skinned as my wife is.

@Pete. Marum was actually my cat’s name. (Himalayan Persian) It is from The Manus Island language. I rescued him from the bushes where he was left to die. He was obviously someone’s valuable stud male cat. When he got too sick they just dumped him. 😡
I nursed him back to health and gave him two good years before he got too sick.

Did you know all cats have a name? They see if you can prove your worth as a cat owner, by guessing it, for they will never tell you. As he was a stray I had no idea what he had been called.
